At this year's North America event, one of our customer panels revealed a few significant areas that were positively impacted by the move Clinical One. At Sunovion, Randomization and Trial Supply Management (RTSM) is an important component of a number of key clinical trials, noted April Mascia, Director of Clinical Trials Material Management. One of the major challenges in such trials, particularly in Phase III, is the need to make significant revisions as the company reviews initial data. Clinical One's approach to RTSM, she said, has streamlined that key process.
"We were looking for a way to more quickly make changes," she said, such as adding cohorts or altering the treatment or dosing schedule mid-trial. "Now that we've implemented Clinical One, we have that flexibility...without much impact to budget or timeline."
