After Natalie Parra saw turtles and sharks tangled in fishing line, covered in nets and ropes, and struggling for their lives, she began work on a nonprofit called Keiko Conservation. When, in 2014, an autoimmune reaction left her paralyzed, she continued to fight for marine life.
