Auspiciously timed to coincide with International Women's Day 2023, we are announcing the launch of a global social community dedicated to supporting the advancement of women who work in finance, supply chain, and related fields.

According to the World Economic Forum's Global Gender Gap Report 2022, the global gender gap has been closed by 68.1%. Which sounds good, eh? But then they continue to describe that at the current rate of progress, it will take 132 years to reach full parity.

Based on the current stats, it's not as gloomy as all that for women in finance, who make up 46% of the workforce, and 41% of the women working in the supply chain space. However, the news worsens when we look at the top leadership positions. Only 16% of CFOs from Fortune 500 and S&P 500 companies are females, and a Gartner survey revealed 17% of chief supply chain officers are women.
