Oracle Visual Builder has changed my perception of low-code a declarative development trend that democratizes development tasks.
For years, I understood low-code to be good for employee apps, proofs of concept and other "low-impact" scenarios, or "set and forget" situations where an app could replace a manual process and run without further work. I pigeon-holed low-code due to the lack of inherent connection to the ongoing business operations professionals use to manage a process (for example, customer or partner service).
However, over the past year, I've learned why Oracle Visual Builder is different, and it's high time the industry learns, too.
