Emanuel Yekutiel envisioned a people-powered meeting place with a rich social activism component. Then he built it. Manny's soon became a vibrant venue on the busy corner of 16th and Valencia in the heart of San Francisco's Mission District. A combination restaurant, political bookshop, and civic events space, Manny's brings in all sorts of individuals and organizations.
