Juneteenth – One year on

Juneteenth, has been celebrated by Black Americans since the late 1800s, an annual holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. I only became aware of the day last year after the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor and as the BLM movement grew. Last year dotdigital recognized the holiday and gave their employees the day off, and encouraged them to learn more about the day and what it really means. A few of us wrote a blog to document our collective learnings. In the same vein, we took a look at a year on how we may have changed and if at all the world around us has changed too. Read more
