I have worked beside founders for a decade and helped build products and digital retail channels for D2C startups from 0 to 1 stage. In 2021, it was time to build something from 1 to 100. I joined Plix Life as their Chief Product Officer to extend and build the vision of India's largest plant led consumer engagement platform spanning products and community on a single platform. In 2023, Plix is today one of India's largest D2C ventures.
As a lifelong fitness enthusiast, the health & nutrition space is dear to me. For a decade, the Indian consumer has been at the centre of my professional work, across both products and services brands spanning health and nutrition, music festivals, ticketing technology, comedy content, adventure sports, biking festivals, art prizes and e-commerce platforms.
Between 2016-21, as a founding member, I helped build Setu Nutrition, a nutraceutical startup funded by the Mariwala family: building brand identity, product market fit, GTM strategy, online retail and distribution and customer experience. Prior to that, I was one of the first team members at Paytm Insider one of India's premier ticketing platforms heading their marketing. In both startups, I have helped scale monthly revenue rates from a humble $2000/month to high growth stages.
Product development, customer experience, P&L duties, online retail plans, and digital marketing is most of where my recent experience lies. And the in-between tangibles like people management, market segmentation, brand identity, packaging, performance marketing are areas where I have built experience for over 10 years. (how old are online businesses again?) How have I worked in multiple core and support functions? It comes with the territory of building alongside founders in early stage startups. It has been a conscious choice to not startup on my own (yet).
