Though it may be cliché, one of my favorite quotes about entrepreneurship is from Steve Jobs, "It's better to be a pirate than to join the navy."
In addition to spending time with our team, where one of our mantras for planning was "Burn the Boats," I was fortunate to spend some time with content marketing pirates this week.
That is marketers who are doing it differently. They're not running the playbooks. Those are for the navy. No, these pirates are moving quickly, taking risks, and being audacious. They're zigging when others are zagging.
