WHY it's Better to Write Emails Like a 10-Year Old

Buzzwords: a word or phrase, often an item of jargon, that is fashionable at a particular time or in a particular context.

Writing complex, meaningless, and hard to understand language in your sales emails in hurting you in more ways than one:

- They're hard to scan making your prospect less likely to read your email

- They're a symptom of pitching, not the point of a cold email

- They try to sound smart instead of clear making prospects roll their eyes

Focus on writing at - 5th grade level when selling. As a rule of thumb the less syllables the easier a word is to read!
