The COVID-19 pandemic has bred disruption and uncertainty throughout the global business community. To comply with social distancing requirements, companies have unexpectedly (and rapidly) pivoted their teams to remote work.

G2's research team wanted to better understand how companies and employees are responding to this shift. We found that SaaS is a critical part of this transition.

Overall, software usage is increasing, organizations are adapting their business processes, and new tools are being adopted to support workers during this transition and beyond. Not only that, but the people who feel they have the software that they need are more comfortable working remotely overall.
