I'm a digital nerd obsessed with the internet and all things media. You can find me at Campaign Monitor, which is part of CM Group aka the Martech industry’s largest family of email and multichannel marketing products.
Before that, I was at Springer Nature, a global research, educational, and professional publisher. I'm a bit of a "Swiss Army Knife" when it comes to marketing, and that was very much the case at Springer Nature. I led the Retention & Reporting team, which was a part of the wider Research Marketing team. Before that, I built and led the Performance Marketing team within the commercial business—which included brands like Nature, Scientific American, BMC, & more. In total, I spent over four years at the company and was involved in retention strategy, lead generation, attribution modeling, project management, marketing data & insights, and basically anything else that helped retain and grow our business.
Prior to that, I was a digital agency account lead for large consumer brands. I built influencer networks & branded #content campaigns. I started my career—and spent over 5 years—at Thomson Reuters, crafting enterprise social media strategies, governance policies, provided training, consulting, and support for executives and business resource groups; not to mention helping people do content marketing the *right* way. I've blogged both professionally and for fun, and have mastered the daily grind of crafting eloquent, gif-laden emails. Tortured New York sports teams (namely the Jets, Knicks, & Rangers), food, film, TV, music, and sci-fi/fantasy books are what occupy most of my free time. And if you couldn't already tell, I'm fluent in corporate buzzwords. I'm half British and ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (aka mr. shruggy) is my spirit animal. Oh and of course, Go Blue.
