Started out in software engineering at a time when the mouse was still being handled on interrupt 33h and memory segments were the thing. Jumped on the Java bandwagon with version 1.1 and applets and eventually found myself in the middle of Android activities and broadcasts. Always have had a particular interest for network-related subjects and wrote my own custom IRC-like network protocol back in the 90s.
Moved in the past years from pure engineering roles towards developer advocacy and technical writing and enjoy very much the collaborative, communicative, and editorial parts of these roles.
I pride myself on my meticulous approach to things, with quite a keen eye for details, and aim for clear and structured paths towards solutions - good ol' KISS. Have worked extensively abroad and in remote settings, as well as on teams of very mixed cultural backgrounds and nationalities.
