I’m a front-end web developer who’s passionate about creating delightful user experiences, and showing others how to accomplish the same. With over a decade’s experience in building innovative code in the email industry, I’ve led and taught emerging techniques in mobile-responsive design, interactive/kinetic functionality, accessible and localized code, and developing for dark mode.
Previously in my role as UI Engineer (UX Platform) at Shutterstock, I aided the transition to the new Shutterstock Design System by onboarding engineers and designers, and providing continued maintenance for both the monorepo and the design system.
Some awards I’ve won for my work in development and design include: “Most Innovative” from Validity’s Email Hero Awards, GDUSA’s American Inhouse Design Awards, eec’s Stefan Pollard Email Marketer of the Year Award, and “Best Movie Poster Design” from The One Club’s ONE Screen Award.
