Amy is an intrapreneur and entrepreneur who is an investor, author, speaker and Founder who has dedicated over 23 years of her career to healthcare and innovating in the technology space.
Amy was the Founder and president of ASE Inc., a technology company that provides enterprise solutions to large companies looking to augment their staff with knowledgeable and polished security and IT professional consultants.
As Principal Consultant of her consulting agencyAmy provided customer centric solutions with a focus on the latest knowledge on cloud based innovations, consulting with personal experience at the top 5 consulting firms Globally. ASE Inc specializes on providing services to enterprise companies in standing up Global programs.
Amy is a real estate investor, with experience in purchasing rural properties and commercial investment properties across Ontario. She gives back to her community by sitting on several corporate boards for startups as an advisor and currently as board member at the Ontario Clean Water Agency, a crown corporation.
Amy historically started out as an entrepreneur consulting in the healthcare domain and owner
of a primary care clinic. Starting with implementing electronic medical records systems
in healthcare, she grew her understanding of the importance of digitization and
technology in healthcare systems to support primary care and alternative care practices.
Amy first began her career in the public sector where she was trained at the Centre for
Addictions and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto and worked with the Workplace Safety
and insurance Board (WSIB) in vocational rehabilitation. She quickly expanded her skills in the Primary Care space as a clinic owner and (dis)ability management domain. She specialized in the behavioural science behind adult motivation and behaviours combined with executed behaviours as the result of cognitive behavioural therapy concepts like PGAP. In the field of change management she has been able to use her talents in behavioural science to develop key communications and project plans that result in successful project outcomes.
Amy has over 20 years of experience on Boards, including Chair at the Period Purse,
Board Member for Durham Catholic Family Services and the Canadian Cancer Society
and most recently as a Publicly Appointed member of the Ontario Clean Water Agency, a crown corporation.
Amy has been recognized by several institutions for her contributions including BMO for Women, Women of Influence, The Total Mom Pitch, RBC Canadian Entrepreneur Awards.
