Anton Rabie is a Co-Founder and Chair of Spin Master. After graduating from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in 1994, Anton partnered with friends Ronnen and Ben to create Spin Master. Anton served as Spin Master’s Co-CEO for 28 years where he and his partner set the strategy and long-term vision for the company, which is now a global leader in children’s entertainment. Renowned for its innovation and pushing the boundaries of play, Spin Master is comprised of three creative centres including toys, entertainment and digital games and is best known for award-wining brands PAW Patrol, Bakugan, Hatchimals, Toca Boca and other popular play experiences.
Anton’s fearless entrepreneurial mindset and resiliency were instrumental in Spin Master’s success, helping to create a culture of risk-taking and acceptance of failure. In his tenure, Anton led many functions, including sales, marketing, human resources and organizational design, where he attracted and developed talent, and forged relationships with domestic and international retailers. Anton spearheaded the company’s global expansion with the establishment of international offices in more than 28 countries. He also led and played a foundational role in more than 30 Spin Master acquisitions, including Tech Deck, Cardinal, Meccano, GUND, Rubik’s Cube, and most recently Melissa & Doug.
