I thrive on the pursuit of broadening my knowledge and accepting new challenges in my career. Despite having degrees in Studio Art (BFA) and Mathematics (BS), I often refer to myself as "Google taught." If there is something I do not know how to do, or am convinced there is a simpler way to execute, I will turn to a series of web searches to try to find the answer.
Through this tendency to be curious, I have self-learned many of the skills that I use in my career including advanced Microsoft Excel formulas and use-cases, the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and AfterEffects), and the fundamentals of wine and beer production. When available, I also utilize training programs to expand my knowledge and proficiency, most recently I have completed Administrator Level for both the Salsify Syndication Certification and the Product Information Management (PIM) Certification.
Outside of my day-to-day managing the DTC, B2B and B2C eCommerce content and syndication for Jackson Family Wines (best known for Kendall-Jackson and La Crema), I sustain a small freelance art business where I create portraits of customers' beloved pets out of pastels or coloured pencils.
