I am a writer and executive coach. I serve as a coach to mission-driven founders and creators to overcome the emotional and strategic barriers to scaling a business.

I write about and for leaders and companies working on important societal problems like climate change, biodiversity, education, food systems, healthcare, and circular products.

Previously, I was managing editor of The Carbon Almanac (a bestselling book about climate change), COO at Good Coffee, and COO at ConvertKit. In my five years at ConvertKit I helped grow the company from $3.5M to $28.5M ARR and 20 to 70 employees as a creator marketing platform on a mission to help creators earn a living.

I was raised in Atlanta, Georgia and now lives multi-generationally with my wife, two sons, in-laws, and pup in Portland, Oregon.
