I graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Chemistry while starting on a varsity Division I softball team for four years. Not only does this show exceptional prioritization and resilience, but it shows I love to push myself and thrive under pressure. My experiences competing in sports at a high level, along with leading a small company, taught me succeeding at the upper echelons requires a much different set of skills than doing something well — I seek these hidden levels of success in my work, being a "student of the game" and constantly learning how to be better.

After college, I taught high school Chemistry and coached varsity softball for four years. Teaching and coaching showed me that building a strong culture intentionally is critical for good leaders. I carried this learning over to company leadership positions, especially as my partners and I grew SkyVerge prior to exit.

I worked in most every role at some point with SkyVerge, from customer support, technical documentation, development, operations, and marketing, to product design and development.

What's the steel thread when we put these experiences together? I learn what's needed to achieve excellence, execute effectively, and constantly push the boundaries of growth.
