When I started my career in 2005 a friend asked me: „why the paper industry - rather join a Finnish mobile phone maker. Paper is the past“ 18 years later paper is still around (in contrast to the Finnish mobile phone maker) and I am still fascinated by the product, its versatility, its human touchpoint, its sustainability and the authenticity the right choice of paper portrays throughout time. Despite the permanence of paper the industry itself is far from being boring. Throughout the business cycles it taught me one thing - change is a constant and in every change there is an opportunity. At the centre of this are the great people of this industry. I am grateful being part of this challenging industry.

I am highly motivated and internationally experienced professional with an extensive track record in B2B sales, business development, marketing and innovation, having worked across five continents. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a strong commitment to building win-win partnerships with customers, adeptly translating technical requirements into tangible customer benefits. Like this I have built specialised paper segments such as high-speed inkjet printing papers from scratch to a multi-million Euro business.

As a leader, I have embraced and successfully navigated organisational change, contributing to the growth and development throughout the industry’s cycles. My ability to quickly connect the dots has allowed me to lead cross-functional teams and projects with paper mills and customers, achieving remarkable outcomes. Notably, one of the key highlights in my journey has been the development of an award winning integrated digital and analogue B2B marketing approach, which has significantly influenced how we approach our business and end customers. On the other hand continuous improvement programmes with our paper mills had a profound bottom line impact.
