Bob Bortz is the Director of Sales Enablement at Baker Tilly. Based out of Collierville TN, Bob is responsible for leading an effort to increase sales effectiveness through programs related to sales methodology, key sales processes, technology, and the delivery of solution-related content/training.

Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Bob worked at FedEx in the areas of Sales, Sales Education, Human Resources, and Sales Enablement. A portion of Bob’s career involved a focus on finding, growing, and keeping talent for the 16,000 Services team members by creating and maintaining a menu of development programs to support a growth & learning culture. His work included new employee on-boarding programs, coaching workshops, leadership transitioning courses, career exploration tours, and leadership development offerings for professionals and leaders. Bob also has a great deal of experience supporting sales and as part of that work he authored a sales process and coaching methodology to help sales professionals and leaders alike. His work resulted in helping hundreds of team members secure promotions and his programs returned more than $70M in value to the organization through cost savings and improved efficiencies.
