Vienna based computational designer, lecturer, researcher, ML enthusiast and architect.
Daniel received his diploma from University of Applied Arts, Studio Zaha Hadid, were he also had a role as Research Assistant by teaching Processing, Mel scripting and Grasshopper.
In 2013, he founded his own research studio: Nonstandardstudio.
Nonstandardtsudio has its focus on generative strategies ( growth processes, multi-agent systems etc.) that target the creation of highly complex autopoietic systems that offer new opportunities for architectural organization, articulation and signification.
Daniel is a Junior Associate at Coop Himmelblau, where he has the leading role of developing custom computational tools, computational design strategies, virtual and augmented reality applications, as well as robotic fabrication processes.
There he had the opportunity to practice on numerous international projects and competitions.
He is currently a PhD Research Fellow at University of Applied Arts Vienna, under the supervision of Patrik Schumacher, and a Lecturer at i.sd - Institute of Structure and Design - Innsbruck University.
