Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Racial Justice Educator, Facilitator, Curriculum Designer and Strategist with 11-years of professional expertise. Additionally, I have a lifetime of lived experiences navigating, and dissecting, structural "isms" & "phobias" as a Black, queer, transgender and neurodivergent person.

Former high school history teacher with an anti-racist, anti-oppression framework rooted in teaching the histories of people from marginalized communities. Now bringing these perspectives to corporate JEDI work to identify, and address, root causes of bias, not-so "micro"aggressions and inequities. Dedicated to constant growth and learning — currently preparing to join the Fall 2022 cohort at the Stanford Graduate School of Business in the Stanford LEAD year-long online business program. I will be building my skill-set in design thinking, impactful leadership principles, and equitable organizational design.

Member of the 2022 inaugural LinkedIn Top-10 LGBTQIA+ Voices list for the U.S. and Canada — highlighting thought leaders within the LGBTQ+ community who are sharing insightful content and sparking conversations about inclusivity year-round. Co-authored the Anti-Racist Human Resources Guidebook in 2020 and Reframing Pride: The LGBTQ+ HR Guide in 2021 (find it at www.equityhr.guide).

Founded Swarm Strategy in June 2020 — a comprehensive consulting agency dedicated to advancing Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) centered policies, practices, leadership principles and actionable support across organizations and companies. At Swarm, I partner with global brands, companies, non-profit organizations and educational institutions to:

-Intentionally scale impact of cross-functional JEDI initiatives, strategies, policies and solutions.
-Design and deliver customized workshops and training programs.
-Coach C-Suite leaders, and senior people managers, on building cohesive, welcoming team cultures rooted in justice.
-Consult with international brands on building culturally responsive marketing campaigns.

My non-traditional path means I take non-traditional approaches to solving problems:

-High school drop-out who went from G.E.D. to the Ivy League [ask me how I did it]
-Army National Guard Veteran who served under 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell'
-Openly transgender, former NCAA Division III student-athlete
