Fifteen years building, leading and launching great products - I've spent the last five years as a Product leader, the ten before that as an architect, engineer and more. In both my old job and my new one, it's not about what tools you use, it's about finding, architecting and validating the optimal solution for the problem; and therefore getting the power in the hands of those that can use it most effectively. Experienced and proud of being able to talk business with business people, and tech with tech people.
I strongly believe great product management is representing the voice that's not in the room - be the customer to the builder, and the builder to the customer, and keep everyone aligned on what the next Most Important Thing is and why.
It's not about solutions and technology or how smart your process makes you sound. it's about empowering people, and helping them solve problems. Empathy and communication is the secret to everything.
