The 'ah-ha' moment {as defined by Merriam Webster} is the sudden realization, inspiration or recognition. It's exciting when we unlearn and learn, when we have that breakthrough 'ah-ha'. For me, my journey and passion go beyond the 'ah-ha'.
I live for the transformation. Changed beliefs, behaviors, companies and outcomes.
Before I was a top performer, I was on a PIP.
Before I led in new accounts, landed & expanded one of the largest accounts, I had the second to last performing territory.
Before I became a leader, promoted others, I was a micro-manager, focused on 'more' activity.
Before my team led in the region, they were the lowest in performance.
Before I could coach others, I had to develop myself {and still do}.
As long as we're willing to do the work. Take what we've learned, apply and refine- we have the agency to drive better outcomes.
Behavior is data, it tells people exactly what we believe {actions are the motions of belief, I say}. Which is why sales {leadership} isn't a 'numbers' game. It's math + behaviors. We cannot create a better buyer experience without understanding how to drive behaviors that create that 'better' experience and velocity in the funnel.
With my career in B2B & B2C sales leadership & enablement across different industries and four early-stage/start ups, I've seen a lot of {buyer:seller:leader} behaviors.
What good actually looks like is:
We test ⤴ We fail ⤵ We learn ⤴ We test {again} ⤵ We grow ⤴
Let's do the work. Growth is a journey, not a destination.

When I'm not enabling sales leaders and their teams or nerding out over behavior analytics: I'm a wife, mother, lifter of heavy weights, avid reader, writer, aspiring baker, and drinker of too much coffee. I'm a student of human behavior, immersing myself in others stories, and engaging in meaningful, thought -provoking conversations {over coffee of course}.
