Carlos Serra is an experienced and dynamic C-level real estate executive, division head, and advisor with over 24 years of experience, both domestically and internationally. Carlos has built a reputation as a business leader and has led multiple business units, within both public mid/large-cap companies and private growth businesses.

As a strategic leader, innovator and change agent, Carlos is comfortable in a variety of roles and is primarily focused on developing operational and human capital excellence. He is a savvy negotiator known for his strong EQ and relationship and business building skills. Carlos's innate ability to build high-performance teams, including his strategically-selected executive management staff, has served as a growth catalyst while nurturing a culture of respect and integrity.

He is currently an EVP for Rexford Industrial (NYSE: REXR), where he oversees multiple groups (Construction, Design, Entitlements, Estimating & Sustainability) and is part of the executive leadership team alongside the CEOs, CFO, CIO and General Counsel. Rexford Industrial currently owns over 35 million sf of industrial real estate with a market cap in excess of $10BN. Previously, he was head of JLL's (NYSE: JLL) Project & Development Services ("PDS") business unit for the west coast (responsible for over 400 real estate professionals and over $2BN in capital projects annually, across multiple offices) and part of the executive board for PDS Americas, which oversees 4,000 staff in the US. He also led the successful acquisition and integration of two regional consulting companies, providing significant incremental revenue and diversification into new asset classes. In addition to his primary role, he was also the west region lead for Spaulding & Slye Investments, the real estate investment operating division of JLL ($1.2BN AUM).

Carlos earned his degree from the University of Northumbria (Newcastle). He has been recognized as a business influencer and was top 1% of LinkedIn profiles from over 50,000+ JLL employees. He has frequently been cited in numerous publications including Bloomberg, WSJ and LABJ.
