Carol Roth is the Creator of the Future File® legacy planning system, a national media personality, billion-dollar dealmaker, brand spokesperson, investor, board member & bestselling author.

Her legacy planning product, Future File, helps people organize their wishes and information and then creates a roadmap for their loved ones to follow in the case of incapacitation (dementia, Alzheimer’s, medical issue) and/or death, to save grief, money and time in their loved ones’ biggest time of need.

Carol also has experience in every type of on-camera format imaginable, including hosting (Microsoft's Office Small Business Academy Series) reality competition/judge (Mark Burnett & Intel's America's Greatest Makers show) & live multimedia commentary, which includes business, finance, the economy, current events, politics & pop culture.

Carol considers herself a “recovering” investment banker, completing transactions and transformational initiatives for companies worth more than $2 billion.

Carol acts as a brand spokesperson, influencer, content creator and consultant for major companies and brands that are seeking to reach a broader audience, with a focus on those looking to reach small business owners and entrepreneurs. Previous and current brand clients include Microsoft and Bank of America, among others.

Carol was named a Top 100 Small Business Influencer for 2011-2015 by Small Biz Trends. She's written hundreds of articles for a variety of outlets. Additionally, she's a sought after emcee, speaker & event moderator, with events that include Virgin Atlantic with Richard Branson, The Chicago Cubs Convention, VALIC, Entrepreneur, among others.

Carol invests in a limited number of private entities, particularly middle market consumer, media and tech companies. Current holdings include Eat Purely, Project M/Revolver media and TinySponsor.

She is a former public company director of Travelzoo (NASD: TZOO) & is interested in other Board of Director opportunities.
