As the Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Cisco, I lead our company’s multifaceted marketing practice focused on strengthening Cisco’s global brand and expanding worldwide demand for our technology solutions. My responsibilities include brand strategy, partner marketing, global field marketing, events, customer advocacy, the digital customer experience through cisco.com and our virtual demand center, as well as marketing insights and analytics. Additionally, I lead Cisco’s global small business segment and industry solutions group, where I am accountable for delivering an integrated sales and marketing strategy globally. I am extremely results-driven and have a demonstrated history of success working in high-growth SaaS companies, as well as the Fortune 50.
Prior to joining Cisco in 2021, I had extensive experience leading enterprise marketing and brand building in the technology sector. My career began at Dell where I spent more than sixteen years honing my craft in global go-to-market strategy, and leading various marketing organizations across the data center portfolio. I then served as Vice President of Marketing for IBM’s Cloud Data Services/Analytics Division before making a career pivot to high-growth SaaS companies in Silicon Valley. I became the first CMO at Box, and then the CMO at SendGrid (acquired soon after by Twilio). Most recently, I served as the CMO of Splunk where we endeavored into an entire corporate rebrand during a massive growth phase.
I am passionate about Cisco’s mission of powering an inclusive future for all and I take pride in being an advocate for women in technology and an executive ally for our company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. In addition to my role at Cisco, I serve on the Boards of NetApp and EDB. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in communications from Texas Christian University.
