I am a Research Scholar at the Carnegie Mellon University. I work in the Language Technologies Institute department in the field of Natural Language Processing with Prof. Judith Gelernter and Prof. Jaime Carbonell. Currently, my research work is focused on fine grained entity recognition for geo location. We are working towards developing a system to identify buildings/landmarks from unstructured text.
Previously, at CMU I worked on developing the visualization software for the METAL project.
My research interests lie in Machine Learning- Natural Language Processing, Information Extraction, Data Mining, Text Analytics and Data Visualization.
