In an era when a brand's story is equal only to the technology that amplifies it, I have a proven track record of architecting tools, techniques, and teams that create and connect fan communities to their favorite brands and each other.
Applying a consultative approach to my work and built on a deep familiarity with the technology that stitches our world and relationships, I bring a passion for the power of platforms to the solutions I deploy. The result is story vitality, immediacy, and effectiveness --- marketing-communications with provable impact on the bottom line.
Most recently at Emory I led University-wide communications and marketing --- people, process, and platforms. Brand building in the higher-ed space followed an executive stint in agency and multiple innovation roles at The Coca-Cola Company.
At Coke, I shepherded the corporate brand and communications via digital storytelling, and created its first global social media platform set. Before that at the company I implemented multiple mobile capabilities that fused marketing and commerce.
Previous achievements include the conception and rollout of non-profit donation via text messaging (SMS) and the landmark mobile outreach efforts of the 2008 Obama presidential campaign. Both are fine examples of the power of technology to connect communities in real-time to affect real change.
