I work with driven writers who want to make their words better.
With almost two decades writing for various businesses and publications, my own content has been featured in The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Forbes, Yahoo! Small Business, The Shine Network, and The Huffington Post, among others. My short stories have been published in numerous literary magazines, and I’m a frequent guest author on writing-and-editing focused, entrepreneurial, and creativity websites.
Two of my past columns have been syndicated: The Single Slice on Maine Today (a dating & relationships column) and Shattering Glass on Forbes.com. In my spare time, I semi-regularly blog on my own sites (ElisaDoucette.com & CraftYourContent.com/articles).
As a guest on radio shows and podcasts around the web, such as Frommer’s Radio, Entrepreneurs ON FIRE, and The Chris Hahn Show, I’ve spoken on topics of writing, editing, creativity, craft, and entrepreneurship; and have presented at a variety of conferences and events, including WordCamp and BlogHer, and the Vanguard Conference.
As the founding editor of Craft Your Content (CYC), I create client strategies and writing processes that develops their prowess and..well...craft. We work with individuals, entrepreneurs, online businesses, and major corporations to create their most compelling content, while recognizing and protecting each writer’s unique voice and vision.
I personally review each account including the logistics of editorial calendars, determining the best plan and responsibilities for everyone involved, reviewing and offering feedback on the work itself, and ensuring everything is executed at the highest standards of quality and thought.
My mission is to serve as a creative partner to my clients.
