As an experienced engineering leader I’ve had the privilege of running dozens of engineering teams to build software that makes a difference in the lives of millions of people.

I have extensive experience running small agile product teams that can iterate quickly, as well as large-scale teams organized to maintain and evolve some of the largest consumer hosting platforms in the world. And I’ve been doing it (mostly) remotely for over a decade.

My teams are given the freedom to make decisions independently and to move quickly without compromising on the product vision. I lead engineering through the lens of the end-user and place a strong emphasis on completely knowing how they are using our products today to make the correct architecture decisions tomorrow.

Having interviewed hundreds of engineers, I have developed a process for spotting and recruiting the right talent for a given team as well as the broader organization, then inspiring them to do the best work of their career.

I aspire to always lead others with integrity, authenticity, and intensity. I will always roll up my sleeves and code right alongside my teams as often as I can. I will always be curious about how products can improve. And I will always go wherever the data takes me.
