Fredrik Eklund is working with Douglas Elliman's Senior Management Team focusing on international sales, new developments and re-sales throughout Manhattan with more than 2 billion dollars in residential sales over the last 11 years. He is the founder of the most high-end residential real estate brokerage in Scandinavia, EKLUND STOCKHOLM NEW YORK with three offices and 50 employees. Fredrik has record sales in 28 buildings in Manhattan last year alone. He is also the star of Bravo's Million Dollar Listing New York, which is sold and distributed to over 100 countries. Season 1 aired in 2012, season 2 aired in 2013 and they are currently filming Season 3.
Fredrik is frequently covered by Wall Street Journal, New York Magazine, New York Times, New York Post and New York Observer as a real estate expert. "My unique philosophy in marketing has truly come a long way and joining DE will allow me to continue to advance in the world of real estate not just in Manhattan but overseas," stated Fredrik Eklund. Originally from Stockholm, Sweden, Eklund studied at the Stockholm School of Economics. At the age of 23, he founded an Internet company with over 45 employees, and went on to work for the investment bank SEB in Stockholm, London, Singapore and Tokyo before crossing the pond to New York City. Eklund is also an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York. He is involved in several charities, like 'My Big Day' with the Princess of Sweden, Madeleine, as well as 'Zimbabwe's Forgotten Children.'
