My mother was an English teacher that loves to correct my grammar. Which actually still occurs to this day.

My father has an incredible knack for spinning a yarn. I first witnessed this in elementary school, when I watched him keep a room of other professionals laughing for an hour straight. It was a revelation.

So you might say that the die was cast from day one. I was meant to tell stories. And I’ve taken great pleasure in seeing the power they hold firsthand. How so?
