Having worked in-house doing public relations and communications in the tech industry for nine years, I am an expert at developing specific communications strategies that advance company-level goals. On a tactical level, my strengths lie in building strong media relationships, acting as a company spokesperson, developing strong spokespeople within an organization, determining highly effective key messaging, and creating original content, as well as ghostwriting for executives. I am known across organizations that I work with as a person who finishes projects and gets things done while being unafraid of wearing multiple hats.
I'm also an avid podcaster. I co-host MakeWorkWork, a podcast about growing our careers, doing creative work, and striving to be better. I previously co-hosted Buffer's podcast, The Science of Social Media, for two and a half years.
Across various places on the internet, I write about remote work, public relations, and career progress. My writing has been published in Fast Company, Built In, The Next Web, Time Magazine, Entrepreneur, and The Huffington Post.
I occasionally do speaking engagements and have spoken at Facebook's Communities Summit, Fast Company's Innovation Festival, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
