Teach music theory and ear training at the Osher School of Music at the University of Southern Maine. Also teach music education classes, private composition lessons, and coach jazz combos.
GAME DESIGNER
Create mobile games that engage learners in real time ear training. Tone Hole and others leverage the pedagogical underpinnings of Kodály methods within simple, carefully sequenced games.
COMPOSER
Compose for various media including television, film, theater, and concert performance - jazz, modern classical, arranging. Particularly interested in close collaborations, idea development, and education. In addition to a busy composing schedule, I am passionate about teaching music and about encouraging people to create their own music.
