Isobel Anderson

Isobel has worked in the field of experimental sound and DIY music for the last 15 years. Gaining a PhD in Sonic Arts from Belfast’s The Sonic Arts Research Centre in 2015, her music has amassed over 25 million Spotify streams to date.

In 2018 she founded The Female DIY Musician, an online resource helping women to start recording their music. In September 2020, The FDIYM will be launching Isobel’s signature online course, Home Recording Academy: a female-focussed, non-judgemental space for women to learn to record their music from home.
