Senior level experience in Software development, product management/strategy with strong customer facing and presentation skills.

I have spent the last 25+ years in the Business Intelligence sector trying to conceive, build & market products that can inform people of what really matters.

Throughout my Career, I have worked as a developer, a technical sales representative, a consultant, a technical director and a product strategy director. I've been responsible for product management, setting product vision & product direction as well as defining detailed product roadmaps and presenting this to industry analysts.

I believe that having deep hands on experience in these varied disciplines makes me a well-rounded individual that can clearly understand how building software works from End-to-end. I have also seen products through transformative technology shifts. From character based to GUI interfaces, from Client/Server to internet, from desktop to mobile and now from on premise to cloud.

I have managed teams and/or worked as an individual contributor. I have worked for nimble, fast paced startups and for some of the largest software companies in the world. I have worked in environments with short iterative development cycles as well as on large multi-year product cycles. I believe experiencing these 'extremes' has given me a strong foundation in understanding the "Art of the possible".

Finally, I am extremely passionate person that is continuously trying to find the balance between Sophistication, Elegance and Simplicity. With each new endeavor I get closer to 'nailing' that balance and I won't give up until I do.
