I am an active volunteer for Furniture Bank of Central Ohio. The Furniture Bank provides furniture to individuals and families building their way out of poverty or other life challenges. They help over 3,500 families each year by giving them furniture to turn their empty houses into homes of hope. This organization makes a huge impact in our Columbus community and I value being a part of it.
I am an infertility advocate. Celebrating, championing and raising awareness of the various ways families are made. My book, First There was Me, The Journey to You came out in July 2021. It's available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. This book is a representation of all the different ways people can build their families including infertility treatment, adoption and surrogacy. It's a great gift for anyone going through infertility, same sex couples, single parents or to help children understand the different ways families are made.
In my free time I enjoy exploring new places and traveling; all while capturing these moments through photography. I also have a soft spot for rescue animals. I have two of the most energetic rescue dogs from The Franklin County Humane Society.
