ABOUT:
Experienced and award winning capital markets professional and tech leader. I spent the first several years of my career in institutional finance and capital markets, and in 2016, after winning the Women in Capital Markets Emerging Leader Award, I started to pivot towards entrepreneurship, innovative technologies, as well as alternative asset classes. Today, I'm entirely devoted to the tech sector. I am an avid speaker, disruptor, and forward-thinking strong female leader, and my unique background in institutional finance allows me to come into, or create, new businesses and teams with both a practical business lens and a fresh perspective. Most importantly, through the years, cultivating mutually beneficial relationships have been key components of my journey and today my network encompasses the Canadian and US public and private investment world, the VC community, and the start-up/tech community. I am from Edmonton, Alberta, I am a proud Alum of the University of Alberta's School of Business, and I have spent my entire career based in Toronto, Ontario.
