Engineered Serendipity: Marketing and Sales Alignment made easy
Article

I am a very passionate person (to say the least).
Here is why:

I started out working for the big green machine (ERAC)...LITERALLY as a number. My father-in-law gave me a book 3 years into my career that changed my whole outlook on life. I was able to learn insanely helpful topics that increased my capacity to do more and better work.

I had the ability to work for ExactTarget through the transition from Orange to Blue (ET to SFDC culture) and I was fascinated by the whole concept of branding, culture, and change management.

I became employee #26 at Olympia Media Group (now Odyssey) and hustled through extreme growth (over 160 employees 18 months later). I learned a lot about managing uncertainty and change within an organization.

I made the decision to transition to trueU so I could learn from the brightest and most caring leaders in Indianapolis. I admired these companies and did everything I could to help them develop their people.

One of my customers, Morales Group, created a position for me to come in and align sales and marketing - something I have made a career out of and something I have studied throughout my career because I have a passion for it. Our team launched an ABM program & began using Terminus' platform.

I saw the difference ABM made in our business & I wanted to help others...so I asked my Terminus account manager for an introduction to the hiring manager so I could sell this product that helped me. Now I work with the best marketers in the country on developing ABM strategies as an AE here at Terminus.

Continual learning, meeting new people, & taking leaps of faith have made my life better than I ever could've imagined.

My personal life's mission is to help as many people as possible become passionate about learning so that they can increase their capacity to do more & live a happier, more fulfilled life.

If you ever want to see me light up, here are some books that have really impacted me:
Start with Why by Simon Sinek
Mindset by Carol Dweck
Radical Candor by Kim Scott
Extreme Ownership by Jocko Willink & Leif Babin
The Go-Giver by Bob Burg
Love Does by Bob Goff
The Power of Vulnerability by Dr. Brene Brown
Change Anything by Kerry Patterson, Joseph Grenny, David Maxfield, Ron McMillian, & Al Switzler
