Jimmy is an e-commerce veteran with 30 years building innovative, market-leading e-commerce platforms.
Most recently, he was the Chief Product Officer at the open SaaS e-commerce platform company BigCommerce (BIGC). Jimmy led the global product organization, overseeing all aspects of product design, strategy, program management, and go-to-market. During his time at BigCommerce, he transformed the product and company strategy from a single-segment solution for micro-SMB to an e-commerce platform business serving SMBs through Fortune 100 retailers. Under his leadership, BigCommerce disrupted the e-commerce market with a highly scalable Open SaaS product offering. Earning many industry awards and a successful IPO in 2020.
Over the course of his 30-year career, Jimmy has held key leadership roles with market leaders, including Magento (acquired by Adobe), which was the world’s leading e-commerce platform at the time; Yahoo! Store, which was named the #1 e-commerce platform on Internet Retailer’s IR 500 list under Jimmy’s leadership; and GSI Commerce (acquired by eBay), where he served some of the world’s top brands and built industry-defining omnichannel commerce capabilities. He also served in product and leadership roles at Hootsuite, Good Technology, Homestead, Lotus and IBM.
