I am expert at designing and implementing operational and strategic performance improvement programs, with a particular specialty in helping bring order to challenging and complex situations. Over my 30+ year career, I have had the chance to work with all manner of companies with a deep spike in retail, brands and consumer-focused businesses. In 2022 I published the bestselling business book, "The Metail Economy", which has been widely-recognized as identifying a pivotal change in consumer behavior and what companies can do about it.

At the end of 2022 after 19 years, I retired as the global Co-Head of Retail from the management consultancy AlixPartners. Today, I am a strategic advisor to ambitious investors, boards and CEOs.
