As a developer experience expert, my goal is to help developers build things faster, better and easier. My day to day work includes improving all parts of the developer experience to increase top of the funnel adoption and product retention. I'm always listening to developer feedback to drive change in the product and enabling developers to spend more time innovating and less time coding. I'm an expert at product messaging, developer tooling, and telling technical stories that are digestible by all audiences.

My passion to improve the developer experience comes from my background as an indie game developer. I founded a game development company that acquired over half a million paid installs across multiple platforms including the Nintendo Wii U console. I also created custom educational software that is currently being utilized by the University of California Riverside to teach business students how to code using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and consume RESTful APIs. My educational software has been used by over 16,000 University of California students and has saved the students over $350,000 in college book fees. Additionally, LearnCS8 has helped business students get jobs in the Software Engineering and Computer Science field by giving them their first initial exposure to front end development.

Currently, I'm living and working in San Francisco at HashiCorp as a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Solutions. I founded San Francisco's most attended game development meetup which now has over 6k members, and organize a total of 3 meetup groups that collectively have over 7k SF Bay Area developers. My past experience revolves around Developer Advocacy which includes product evangelism and collecting developer feedback to improve the developer experience. I've worked on creating robust web experiences and product journeys that are consumed by hundreds of thousands of developers monthly. If you would like to network, collaborate, or work together, feel free to reach out; I'd love to help you make your dreams a reality.
