I am a seasoned marketing professional, and have honed my skills within a few innovative and forward-thinking brands.
I have learnt to identify problems and needs before they become an issue, and then take the time to find the right solution, work on a strategy which will suit the client, and roll out the implementation effectively and efficiently. That may sound quite generic and in a way, it is, however, I like to think that I have a cross-functional approach to digital marketing. This approach has worked well with SaaS business owners (Software as a Service) in the past.
Passive is not a word in my vocabulary! Growth marketing requires hard work at a high tempo and is all about a mindset. Part of my journey with a client is to educate them on what marketing is about so that their expectations do not supersede the possibilities. Growth should have a purpose i.e. for increased traffic; to generate more sales; bring in more leads, etc.
Having young twins and a busy toddler in my life, has taught me a lot about myself and has helped me manage my business, my clients and my future better. Projects are never linear, much like a ball-pit of infants, their movements, their mind-sets and how they change their minds, are all very similar to managing a client’s project. I appreciate the viewpoint of all the various levels within a business and that one cannot go into a strategy with one singular goal or preferred outcome. One needs to build the strategy much like a spider’s web, with agility in mind. Having a predominantly technical mind has stood me well over the years (how it works, why it works, and how to make it work better.)
While I have won a few awards and am super proud of myself for the path I have followed and succeeded on, I feel more rewarded when I see the results that are forthcoming when a client’s business reaches new heights and successes because of my involvement. That speaks volumes to me and I would rather have that as an accolade than a trophy or award.
I am passionate about helping entrepreneurial ventures in their respective journeys and businesses, and I'm particularly looking to connect with SaaS business owners (Software as a Service), especially those who haven’t yet started their marketing and are keen to build their foundation correctly before hitting that growth spurt.
On a personal level, I am a dedicated husband and dad of three, and besides my entrepreneurial passion, I do it all for them.
