I have over two decades of experience spanning manufacturing and BFSI organizations. Starting my career in Bayer India and going on to International Rectifier where I was responsible for implementation of systems in the APAC region. Later I re-joined Bayer and was responsible for the technology integration and standardization across 12 group companies in India.
As Senior Executive Vice President - IT and CTO at Kotak Life Insurance, I oversee all strategic technology and digital initiatives and am responsible for ensuring that the company's technology strategy is aligned with its current and future business needs to give the organization a competitive edge.
I have evangelized and led several transformation initiatives including mobile based Sales fulfillment, video based customer calling, OCR/ICR based BPM, Activity Management for the Sales force, Enterprise class Underwriting rule engine, RPA, BOTs for improving customer service etc.
Being extremely passionate about building excellence through technology ,I have been an early adopter of several technologies like datacenter virtualization, hyper converged infrastructure, flash storage, data reduction technologies, block level replication , workspace automation, devops, CI/CD etc.
Cyber security is a key focus area for me and have been early implementer of DLP, DRM, WAF, DDOS etc.
Relationship Management is a key strength and have forged a well-established partner network with strategic alliances with large as well as small partners. I am often invited as a speaker at Industry forums.
