With over 15 years of experience as a professional economist, I specialize in research and analysis of the real estate market -- leveraging Python, SQL, and SAS to query and synthesize large datasets in order to provide insights to corporate leaders and policymakers.
Currently, I work as a Staff Economist at AppFolio, Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based software solutions for the property management industry. In this role, I support the company's strategic decision-making and business development by analyzing trends in the residential rental market.
Previously, I worked as a Senior Economist at Zillow and Moody's Analytics where I authored research briefs, prepared economic commentary, and contributed to product research and development related to various aspects of the U.S. real estate market.
I hold a PhD in Economics from Georgia State University and an MBA from Georgia Tech. My career objective is to use my analytical skills and domain expertise to help senior executives and decision makers understand and navigate the complex and dynamic U.S. real estate market.
