I can honestly say that I am never bored. My closest friends and family will tell you I'm a geek, but I prefer to say that I have a healthy enthusiasm for simply "making stuff work better".
I didn't set out to be a consultant, but this profession has been the sweetest surprise in my career so far because it lets me connect with so many different people who all have the same types of challenges. I can help clients decipher really tough processes and figure out a way to simplify them. I can work with different software solutions and understand where they are a great fit for a client and match them up. I can challenge people on strongly held assumptions when they need to embrace change. I love what I do.
I've enjoyed mastering my skills in legal department change management, business process automation, contract lifecycle management, legal strategy and operations. This is complex subject matter, but that is what makes it fun.
In addition to the focus on legal consulting and contract management applications, I have also implemented matter management and electronic billing systems, entity management systems, risk management systems, and have experience in records management and document management implementations and processes.
