I started my career managing Searching Engine Optimization (SEO) for Tableau Software.
SEO was a bit of an arcane science at the time. I remember presenting a dashboard of search engine rankings to the whole marketing team, using a heat map to show rank (color) and search volume (size). When the CMO had a lightbulb moment, I felt like a star — and I was hooked on the incredible impact data can have.
I thrive when representing technologies that shoot no lower than the moon.
