I love growth. It might be the way I was created. Or perhaps it happened because I come from a long line of farmers and builders. I love growth and I'm good at it.
When businesses grow, opportunities abound. There are positions needing to be filled with great talent. Growing companies have resources to develop people and products. They create new jobs and drive the economy. The talent pool is stronger and we all learn from one another. Growth creates a flow of abundance.
I've always focused my career on helping people and businesses grow. And at the end of the day I wanted to show up the same way at home as at the office. It makes me more sane. Growth is my answer to life's biggest challenges. It comes naturally from the way I see the world.
Early in my career I built and owned call centers performing lead generation for businesses and non profits. Then I started working with Defender Direct when they were a $2m business. I ran their marketing and did the CMO, President and CEO jobs over the 14 years I worked with them. When I left in 2013, we were over $400m in revenue. That was fun.
