My 30 years of experience with HCL Software, IBM, Aspen Technology and previous employers have greatly enhanced my software development skills.
Throughout my career I have been a self-starter and I am highly motivated to do the right thing. I have a meticulous attention to detail while still being able to envision the big picture. My experience is broad based, spanning both custom projects in refining and petrochemicals, as well as standard software packages that apply to all large manufacturers, including pharmaceutical companies.
I have strong, practical expertise in measurably improving the systems and software development lifecycle and driving the necessary cultural changes to make it work. I've been instrumental in architecting, tailoring and deploying proven software development best practices as well as appropriate software development tools on many types of projects, from large to small, long to fast-track, agile to traditional. I have a strong ability to ferret out both technical and business issues and their corresponding opportunities. I am able to capture the measurable business value and results of complex engagements, and articulate those results as compelling customer stories. In addition, I have an incredibly strong eye for detail, the ability to drive business forward when others falter, and am willing to do any task even if it is outside of my comfort zone.
